Is it necessary to wear a retainer after completing invisible braces treatment?

Yes, wearing a retainer is the most effective way to avoid tooth displacement after the treatment of clear aligners. This is because your tooth bones will remain soft and fixed after the braces, and your teeth will remain in place. If the retainer helps the teeth stay in the same position. Basically, it will take about another year for your teeth to be stable. Depending on the condition of your teeth, your dentist will advise you on wearing the retainer.

How long do ZenyumClear™ retainers last?

The ZenyumClear™ retainer is made of medical-grade polymer PETG diaphragm and has a service life of approximately 4-6 months, depending on the individual's actual use and your dentist's recommendations.

How long do I need to wear the retainer?

Basically, it will take about another year for your teeth to stay in their new place. It is recommended that you wear a bindings throughout the first year (including nighttime at bed). Plus, because every smile is unique, your dentist will advise you on wearing a retainer.

What happens if you don't wear the brace?

What should I do if I lose my retainer or if it is broken?

If you lose your retainer or if your retainer is broken, please contact a Zenyum Smile Specialist immediately. We will replace the retainer free of charge for you within the one-month warranty period. If you lose your retainer, don't worry. Our set of retainers will have 2 or3 setsto make sure you have additional retainers to continue using. If you don't have enough retainers, contact a Zenyum Smile Specialist to purchase a new one and keep your smile looking bright.
